Roger Birt
Roger is an economic development and FDI consultant with seven years of experience delivering investment promotion, lead generation and investor engagement programmes for government and private-sector clients across international markets.
His career in investment promotion began at HMC Global and Wavteq, working with clients including the Arizona Commerce Authority, Oklahoma Department of Commerce, JETRO, Dubai FDI, Dubai Airport Free Zone, Provence Promotion and the World Bank, across events including the Paris Air Show, Hannover Messe, Mobile World Congress, Web Summit and the World Economic Forum.
At ROI Research on Investment, he delivered investment attraction and lead generation programmes for a wide range of investment promotion agencies and economic development organisations, including Toronto Global, Wyoming Business Council, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Loudoun County Economic Development, Niagara Economic Development, Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority and Piemonte Italy, across events including BIO, Collision, SHOT Show, Data Center World and MIPIM, alongside an investor gala dinner in Shanghai for Saudi Arabia's National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP).
Between 2024 and 2026, as a lead consultant for Grow FDI, Roger delivered lead generation and investor engagement programmes across MIPIM, MIPIM Asia, MIPIM Middle East, Expo Real, Cityscape Global, Cityscape Qatar, MAPIC and Smart City World Expo, as well as dedicated roadshows to Seoul, New York, London, Shanghai and Tokyo. Saudi clients included Invest Saudi, MISA, New Murabba, Diriyah, ADEL Real Estate, Ajdan, King Salman Park, KAFD, Sports Boulevard, NEOM, Roshn and Soudah Development.
He founded Emerge Markets to bring a more efficient, targeted approach to investment promotion and event delivery: lean teams, direct principal involvement, and programmes built around quality of engagement rather than volume.

Aimee Birt
Aimee is co-founder and director of Emerge Markets, and leads the firm's data and research workstream. A data analyst with seven years of experience managing complex datasets across public-sector, infrastructure and enterprise environments, her core expertise covers data validation, lead classification, quality assurance, ETL and database integration, and structured reporting, working with SQL, Power BI and Python.
She has been part of the on-site delivery team at investor engagement programmes including Cityscape Global 2024, MIPIM 2025 and MIPIM 2026, coordinating client schedules, managing real-time changes and providing concierge support to keep meeting programmes running to time across multiple simultaneous entity mandates.
At Emerge Markets, Aimee owns the data and research pipeline end to end, from ICP definition and target list build through to lead classification and post-event reporting.

Emerge Markets engages a trusted network of researchers, outreach associates and senior delivery consultants on a project basis, scaled to the requirements of each engagement. All work is directly supervised, with output reviewed before any contact is made on a client's behalf.
The wider team brings Arabic, Italian, Spanish and German language capability alongside English, supporting pre-event outreach and follow-up across the firm's priority markets.
